"UMAMI" the fifth taste

SWEET PINK: This tomato, which has its origins in Japan, distinguishes itself through its pink colour. The Sweet Pink combines this with umami, the “fifth taste”. We all know the four basic tastes: sweet, sour, salt and bitter. The taste umami comes from Japanese cuisine and could be described as “savoury”.
